Lately

It has been quite a while since I've posted anything here.

I have been at INTEC for quite a while now; about 2 months now. I am enjoying myself here, Alhamdulillah. Except for the fact that being here has given me so much freedom and I find myself being tested quite a lot but Alhamdulillah I have friends who keep me from deviating.

I have spent the last 2 months stuffing into my head complex grammar rules (which is not really necessary), hundreds of new vocabulary, and just mainly English. My courses for this semester are writing, reading, oral communication, pre-calculus and Islamic studies.
Honestly, I am not doing quite well in pre-calculus which shook me as math has always been my strength.

That won't weaken me though; it's strengthening me. I need to get my shit together and work harder. I have been fooling around way too much here.

I remember being a little disappointed when I didn't get the Bank Negara scholarship and consequently did not get to enter Taylor's. But I'm happy now. I can see that this place really is the best for me. And I thank Allah; He certainly knows better than I do.

Even though INTEC looks like a school, the people in it are mostly awesome. I don't regret coming here, at all.
