General Election Aftermath

Assalamualaikum w.b.t.

The 13th General Election has passed (as we all know) and the government has not changed. Be patient is all I can say to those who are not happy with the outcome. Have faith in Allah because He knows best. Keep praying because we'll have the next general election. Have faith.

Anyway, the point of this post is actually to say something to the world with the hopes that people will listen to my opinions. I'm not foisting my opinions on you but I just want people to listen to what I have to say.

First of all.
Dear Malaysians, we do not know what REALLY happened on 13th May, the case with Anwar Ibrahim or whatever else. I really think we should just stop talking about it instead of saying things like "Kau lupa ke apa LKS buat? Dia yang mulakan 13 Mei" or "Aku taknak PM gay" because we don't know the truth. Yes maybe you've read it off the internet or the sejarah text book or the newspaper but do you really think it's the truth? So we should all just stop talking about it to avoid ourselves from spreading slander.

Second of all
Stop believing in the media. The media exaggerates and is completely one-sided so really we have to stop debating using the points we obtained from the media because we don't even know if it's true. That brings us back to my first point - try to avoid ourselves from spreading slander.

Third
Mana semangat 1 Malaysia? Come on guys. Why are we letting politics divide us? Why are you letting politics get between you and your friends. Why are we fighting? This is of course a reminder for me as well. Both the government and the opposition have the same goal - which is to have a harmonious and a developed country. We should keep that goal in mind even though the party you supported did not win. Ingat, we have to continue uniting the ummah.

Fourth
We have to stop with the hateful words! Respect our leaders and even if you don't like them, pray for them! Allah has the power to give them hidayah. Tak kisah lah BN ke PAS ke PKR ke, they are all leaders of the country. Pray for our leaders to rule the government based on the Quran and Sunnah. It is not a lost cause because Allah is always there to help. We have to stop calling our leaders khinzir or gay or whatever. Nanti non-Muslims will look at us and think "macam ni ke Islam".

Last of all
Keep calm and wait for the next election. There's always the next election. Sentiasa berdoa kepada Allah. Believe in Allah because He knows what's best for us.

Insha Allah, keep praying to Allah to give success to the right party. We have to stop fighting over this because there is akhirah. If there were people who weren't truthful then they'll get their punishment. What we have to do now is to keep making da'wah so that non-Muslims are interested to be part of Islam. That is our ultimate goal. Leave the government if they are corrupted as long as we keep doing what we have to do. We have to learn to prioritise our goals.
